Yeah, having to have real things is the tricky bit, because I don't want to create a load of junk props just for my one-off shoot as that's the opposite of solarpunk haha. I think it might just have to be seeing what community projects exist and seeing if I can find a way to style them for a shoot.

My only thought so far that feels true to solarpunk is actually finding existing community projects (community gardens, repair cafes etc) to shoot something kinda like an ad campaign for them - a bit stylised, with some models alongside real volunteers. Let them get stuck in, and document it.

Noo! Like, I love that as a short story concept, but I'm soo tired of gloomy, conflict-heavy dystopias (the world's gloomy enough already) - I want to find a way to bring eco-anarchist/ afro-futurist/ solarpunk visions to life with photography.

This was also my first time using RawTherapee for editing - it was much, much easier than darktable when all you wanna do is throw a preset on a bunch of images!
