First couple of edits from my post-Adobe era. Still getting used to it, still not sure I've finished messing with these.
Made much more progress with GIMP than last time I tried though, so that's a win!

Photographers, if you really want to challenge your skills, I highly recommend trying to take photos of morris dancers!
I've been following my partner's side around for a while now and still don't think I've managed 1 single photo that is well composed 😅

Update:
Darktable is a great Lightroom replacement. There's a learning curve, but I think I'm going to prefer it once I get the hang of it.
Using GIMP as a Photoshop alternative however... probably because I have used Ps for 20 years (vs. ~1yr on Lr) but I am struggling!
Patience is key.

I shoot exclusively on my 2004 3MP point-and-shoot with 64mb SD card now.

This was my from my first shoot using a black mist filter. I'm still not sure how I feel about it tbh.
It instantly added that feeling of like "good photo you would see shared on Instagram photography pages" but also took away some of the uniqueness of my work.
