They can do it in the baltic sea but don't you understand, offshore wind turbines (invisible from the shoreline, this is the middle of the sea) are so ugly from the shoreline.

In desperation, I ordered 10x 1-lb cafe bustelo bricks for $6.39 a pound on July 24. They are now $7.98 a pound at the same vendor.

San Diego is full of hidden gems. A mismatch of Broadway stars came to perform Chicago *on the water* last night.

Australian labradoodle! Nowhere as active, the Australian refers to the breed origin not any relationship to the heeler or cattle dog.

Watched a controlled burn for a fire following earthquake test at the @ucsandiego.bsky.social shake tower. Very cool! One drone had both an anemometer and a particulate matter sensor on board.

This ramen spot in Wroclaw has done: beef tartare ramen (excellent), katsu curry ramen (essentially a breaded hamburger and the broth tastes like Japanese curry), and now has an ice cream ramen. Truly breaking barriers. www.instagram.com/p/DMKvIA4sJN...

God bless Mexican food, especially on mountainsides. Quesadilla was devoured before this pic was taken.

Also can't imagine what LA smog looked like before NOx controls but know from low stability days what the view can look like in a clean transportation future.

What's the obsession with building under the flight path though. This GH building is in the flight path so it'll be loud as heck. A lot of BH is slated for redevelopment and the planes are about this high off the street. Can't really go that high and the noise sucks.

This is tangential to the main story but the dude assassinated a dog and there's a *dog honor guard* of service dogs standing by the caskets. This is such a violent and insane event that's been glazed over. www.startribune.com/melissa-and-...

Need to include the coaster in my recommended tourist things for San Diego. commuter rail that drops you off literally in front of multiple beaches, costs $6, runs hourly, downtown station, don't need to rent a car. Especially if you're here for a conference.
