This gets it just right.
Honestly the difference between a synopsis and an outline is that in a synopsis, you can say "They had many adventures before finally arriving at the Dark Lord's castle" but in an outline you have to SPECIFY or when you're drafting you will run headfirst into that gap like man-sized pothole
