Not that I'd defend JJ and his stupid texts, but these 2 things are not the same. He was obviously not going to shoot the speaker after shooting his mouth off, whereas the young Rs are absolutely casually anti-Semitic, misogynist, and racist in ways that will definitely inform their actions.

I'm just not seeing this. How many people does the AI industry actually employ? It may represent a large chunk of the stock market valuation, but that's not the same thing as the overall economy. And as people have pointed out in the comments, the 40% figure refers to current growth not the economy.
