Let Kendrick be a reminder to leave nonchalant people alone. They are reserved because they know they'll take it too far when provoked. Once you open Pandora's Box, there's no closing it…

Came home to a surprise handwritten note and a new journal from my LD Bestie today, and it made me reflect on the joy of slowing down and connecting more intentionally. 💌✨ #littlebrightspots

When I sat down to write my “little bright spot” entry today is came out as a poem. I tried to resist the urge to rhyme but I couldn’t. I used to write poetry all the time so why am I so self conscious? It doesn’t matter. Everything I wrote is still true. #poetry

There is no calamity so huge that there is not beauty and humor and joy to be had in the moments between actively working on solving or evading it.

Learning to take those moments, embrace the hell out of them, is what will make it all worth it, at whatever point you reach the end.

My fave thing about me? My outsides do not match my insides. I might look like a pretty unassuming suburban mom who’s into trying new trends, but inside, I’m a feral teen blasting Eminem while figuring out how to raise a decent kid in an indecent world—while giving her all the things I didn’t have
