IMO, Breslow blew the Devers situation. You get one "shoehorn your star player into changing positions" card per season. He grumbled but eventually agreed and, amazingly, it all worked out. Take the W, right? Cora knew not to ask him, at least not yet. It had to come from Raffy. #redsox

I agree with AC, that's the right move right now. But I hope Raffy looks at the situation and volunteers to take grounders out there just to see. It makes too much sense, and stepping up for an injured teammate is very different from being shoehorned into a position change by management. #redsox
