Making Bonnie's chocolate chip cookies from the instruciton manual for In Stars And Time.

The mixing begins. Two bowls, one with the powdery stuffy, the other with butter and vanilla. Note the case and manual to the upper right so I can (hopefully) not fuck it all up. I feel like if they still had those weird 'colors', Bonnie would agree with my Father in Law that blue eggs taste the best. The wife insisted on getting what are called Easter Eggers. Usually we end up with blue or bluish green. Once we had a fairly solid green. Never a pink yet, though. And done! 1st batch I did the 10 minutes. 2nd batch, I did 9m30s. The last batch I'm doing 9m45s. None of them are burned or anything, but figured I'd see what times do best. Also, these cookies are amazing.

We (myself, the wife, and biological progeny) are playing Betrayal At Baldur's Gate with my mom. This is the same mom who railed against D&D for being satanic. The mom who threw out a D&D box set I managed to procur as a child.

This is enjoyable on many levels.
The layout thus far in Betrayal. We should have sat at a bigger table, and we've barely started.

Onions, carrots, orange pepper, and tofu stir fry! Not terribly visible is the ginger and garlic. It's all on the pilfered cast iron, on the possessed burner as well.

That sneaky raccoon has been back. He is walking away towards the treeline of the woods. Also pictured is a half-assed flower bed and doghouse. The doghouse is used by the feral cat we call Lemur (not pictured).

4 sliced of fried yellow squash. It's quite the hit with the wife. And pretty much everybody. Before we were even dating, I did it for dinner and a gaming night. The plate didn't make it past her.
