"You, of course, realize the need to make stupid jokes and comments is just a defense mechanism."

"Yeah, but it's the BEST one!"
Personally, looking forward to the "have a penny, abandon a penny" trays in convenience stores.

Waiting to see Trump attempting to get the turkey to buy his crypto as a condition of the pardon.

"I mean, I'M stupid and look how far I have gotten!"

It's the only way they can explain the fact that they act in opposition to any and all facts.

"It's all about instinct." As if it were something genetic, predetermined and/or something you can't "learn."

It's how they tell themselves they are right not to listen to "experts."

I think I read the book in less time than it took to watch the movie.

I am so glad he cleared that up because, for all intents and purposes, it really does appear as if he minds the question.

because that is what 2000's sitcoms are for...

2 points:

1) Well treated workforces rarely have to take the step of unionizing. (Reference the Ford Motor Company before and after the founder's death.)

2) Unions are like lawyers. They aren't necessarily your friend; they are the scumbag who sits by you at your side of the table.

The same people who tell us if we take on socialism nobody will want to work are the same people who are pushing for an economy in which nobody will have a job.

How is that better?

To believe empathy is toxic is to give in to the myth that sociopathy is the way to truly succeed in our society.

We see if often in the telling of the "unhinged genius" whose achievements could only be explained by his being unfettered from common moral, norms or ethics.

It is total bullshit.

"Yes, please, both look at the Camera. Rep Grijalva, could I get a big smile please? and Speaker, yes, could you give us a real 'I am so screwed but trying hard not to make it visible' expression, please? THAT's it..."

Honestly, I am surprised.

I really expected him to have her come up, then just before swearing her in claim he had to make a trip to the restroom while he really made a run to his car.

Do any of the members of Congress considering voting against the release of the Epstein files have a past so pure as the driven snow that they believe they are impervious to anyone who might decide to crawl through their history in the very near future?

Trump is famous for not rewarding loyalty.

If the Epstein files proved Trump's innocent, they would have already been declared "required reading" for high school students in Texas and Oklahoma.

This feels a little like the guy who your wife cheated with telling you "You know, you should thank me. No one has done MORE regarding getting you two into marriage counseling than me."

I am sorry, but which number timeline are we referring to?

I assume the DVD's were purchase as a gift by Britta who thought they were the same thing as Inspector SpaceTime.

One of those "GoBots vs Transformers" situations.

Much in the same way I have to take my car to the mechanic and have them put it up on the rack because it is running TOO good.

Larry Summers is the poster child for "I think I am so much smarter than everyone and yet everything I touch to turns to sh!t."

Or is it" I think I am so much smarter than everyone because I refuse engage with anyone I believe might know something I don't"?

I guess I can make 2 posters.
November 12, 2025 at 6:45 PM
He sounds like a 3-year-old lamenting how tough they have it and how unjust the world is after being told they have to clean up their room before they are allowed to go to a friend's birthday party.
