At the end of the day the next election will be Reform and what remains of the Tories vs the parties that represent the majority of people in the UK.

I will happily vote for any of the rest even though I will not agree with quite a few of their policies.

Politics is chess not Big Brother.

What a hill to die on Ed, ridiculous. What does your second paragraph even mean. Loads of countries have digital ID and nobody seems to mind. It’s this small minded attitude we have in this country that we’re somehow exceptional. With one breath we’re talking up Ai and then dissing digital ID.

I really think you have got this one wrong and I hope you change your stance when looking at the wider advantages for people and business, and not just in response to the current headlines. It’s not about immigration. It’s about the UK growing up in our digital age.

Yes, there appears to be no interest or effort made anymore to fact-check columnists or for that matter news and features. It's not the subs, it's political. The Times has not been a newspaper for some time.
