A Variegated Fritillary Butterfly chrysalis! They’re silver with copper spikes and coper and black spots. Their caterpillars are a little scary looking, but they sure are cool looking in this stage! The little guy was camera shy and started to rear up!

One last picture of the Calico Critters Marguerite bunnies, Snow Bunnies, and baby ducks before spring decorations go into storage. Epoch is not selling in the USA this year so what Barnes & Noble, Cracker Barrel, Five Below, and toy stores have now is all we’ll get, thanks to stupid tariffs.
My collecting days may come to an end thanks to rising prices, tariffs and what not, so this may be my last non-limited edition purchase of a Breyer Traditional sized horse. They used to cost $20. Now they cost almost $60.

Billee Henderson was a plush artist who made custom mohair bears in the 1980’s +. I used to see her work at craft shows, toy stores and gift shops when I was little. I could never afford a Billee's Beastie back then so I never expected to own one. Rescued this girl from an antique store.

Medicos SAS figures from Phantom Blood and some animal figures I have. A Classic scale Breyer Morgan mare, some Kinder Joy animals, Pluck the sword that came with Jonathan Joestar, Pocket Box Kittens, and a couple of wolf figures I don’t know anything about.

The wild violets have been really pretty in my yard. Apparently their flowers and leaves are edible but since I’m renting and don’t know the property’s history with pesticides, I’m not going to munch anything in my yard. 😆

Well, I tried to see the planet alignment but I think the trees win. 😆 Mars doesn’t show up well on my phone but it’s bright orange to my eye. It’s high in the sky.

I haven’t felt up to making much art this year so these are my only finished pieces. I used a stock image of the Grinch because I couldn’t draw it tiny enough to fit the mug, brush stamps for two backgrounds, and clipart for the Christmas greeting, but everything else was drawn with my finger.
