Now that they have their goodwill back, doing record profits and the propaganda machine is in full effect that AEW is going out of business / will soon be surpassed by TNA, I’m not sure they will change again. It is nice to see folks converting little by little this year though on the AEW Subs.

I stopped last month and now keep up via recaps on F4W. I believe the one time they were forced to change was around 2021-22 when AEW was at its hottest. Vince stepped down for the first time, HHH took over, ushered in the Renaissance Era, and converted a ton of people back.

Unfortunately, we are at a stage now where I doubt losing a handful of views will do much damage. There *might* be a dip next year once Cena is gone but who knows? Lots of people are criticizing HHH’s booking online but their weekly shows get sold out all the same.

This whole tournament has been predictable. Gunther wins and will become a 2x IC Champion. It was funny watching folks think that Edge would come back though.

Simply stated, he is in NXT because he is absolutely NOT a can’t-miss Main Eventer that checks all the boxes. I’ve only seen Twitter Idiots claim that. Maybe post your question there and spend 10 hours arguing with them.

No. I did not. The reason they are keeping him in NXT right now is because they want him to learn their system, just like Drew, Stephanie, Giulia, etc. When he gets to the main roster, he will probably have some success as a midcard guy…but he won’t be a WrestleMania main eventer.

Anyone have a chart listing all of her defenses so far? Not hating, btw. I saw a chart posted on the other site but had difficulty believing it because it was made by a bad faith artist.

AMC is a great movie theater chain and IMHO, has the best popcorn…but you couldn’t pay me to subscribe to their channel.

Smackdown is going three hours next year so good chance they bring him up to the main roster then. He honestly fits the WWE Formula better anyway. I see him eventually taking over Miz’s spot.

The Goth-Off between Priest/Black should have ended yesterday but knowing HHH’s style, they will be feuding with each other until the Rumble and that’s a generous estimation…then Priest will either turn to join Black or form a Comedy Tag Team with Truth.

They don’t but you can bet the FedHeads will be shouting “let it play out” until he’s in his late 30’s doing nothing…and then when he gets released, the pivot will be “well he always sucked.” Already saw this movie play out with Cameron Grimes who was actually entertaining during his NXT run.

I’m just pissed I missed the Angle run. I was young at the time and allowed people to color my judgment about the company which, in turn, made me not want to give the product a chance. You are seeing that now in real time with the Fed Propaganda against AEW.

I think the vast majority of live audiences at WWE shows these days look at it as attending the circus. They show up to sing along and watch long entrances. They don’t care too much for the stuff in between. It’s why you get a lot of silence during the actual matches.

r/AEWOfficial has been good, I will say that. Aside from that, the main reason I stick with Reddit these days is that it’s a good place to fuel my video game fandom. Aside from wrestling and politics, BlueSky is lamentably dead in other areas of interest.

That feud would have actually made sense with the program they were setting up as well with Miz vs. Melo. Have Miz cost Melo key wins in his bouts against Black in order to further fuel the tension the two were having against each other before the betrayal.
