Say what you will about r/AEWOfficial but the alternative r/AEWFanHub is a complete joke. Zero mention of the “FUCK ICE” chants and it’s clear that a bunch of folks only joined the sub to shit on AEW because what else are you gonna do with your time as a keyboard warrior? Pathetic.

It never ceases to amaze me how some people look at one or two posts from their timeline and think it’s representative of the entire fandom. The WrestleSky feed is currently 50% wanting AJ in AEW and 50% wanting him to stay away…but sure, ALL AEW fans want EVERY WWE wrestler in their promotion. 🙄

Folks like Lyric and WrestlingMark saw the writing on the wall and bounced back to Twitter. I’d give it three years tops before this place devolves into a similar wasteland…except it will just be AEW fans fighting each other on a daily basis.

Edge + Christian played a large role in shaping me as a wrestling fan during my formative years. I know TK makes it a point to give legends a proper send-off so I have zero issues with them closing out their careers together on a high note. Just hope the next two years will be their last ones.
The Edge and Christian reunion is the kind of booking I know deep down I’m not a fan of. The nostalgia is nice(?) but you can see how much of a narrative mess it can lead to. Framing the Attitude Era as “the good ol’ days” will always be a mistake in my eyes. Society has rightly moved on.

I don’t have an issue with MJF winning the AEW Title. I can understand the issues that some fans have with him though and I think he would do well to reign in some of his material (Diddy). — 1/2
