Reposting for my friend. Any suggestions?
How do I find Star Wars nerds who are also hobbyists that like to glue and paint things on here?
I spent some much needed hobby time today sanding and gluing together part of a replica Han Solo DL-44 blaster*. The clamped parts are now curing for part 2 probably next weekend. Then I will do more sanding, filling, and prep to paint. Why is this so fun??? Why am I a grandpa???

It was never just about schools, it was never just about libraries, and it isn't actually about the books.

It's about finding a way to banish entire people, entire ideas, out of society, back into the closet or worse.
