Oh but I love this game. I played it, cried, let it rest in the back of my mind, watched a let's play of it then watched several more fixatedly as I shared my grief with the players.

My advice: be open to what your players want to do. Do not hold onto your idea tightly.

When I started GMing I was occasionally shocked by what my players chose to do. Pushing back was never the answer and once I let go and let them shape the plot, it was a lot more fun.
