I find myself hoping that SE has the gall to make the wol lose hard on XIV, I want to be entertained.
I see how others might enjoy the story and chracters so far, but I really struggle to care for Alexandria, I get it was a nice nod to the themes of ff9, but I like when 14 is it's own game

Yeah, looking at how the story's gone it's pretty clear that Tural was just an excuse to get to the story they actually wanted to tell with Alexandria. Latin American and indigenous people really deserve better representation than what they were given in Dawntrail.

I am so unsurprised and tired that Dawntrail is yet again another expansion of "but the imperialist/colonizers have feelings too", good they should nurture the empathy related ones instead of keep hiding behind the kawaii marketing that distracted from their WW2 daliances
