I am all but certain tgat Halo and Bungie devs joined Gearbox for Borderlands 4. There is too many similarities of flavour and function to not see this as a Halo Infinite / Borderlands 4 mash up... And I'm all for it.

With the ROG Xbox Ally Black expecting to be $1600 I was at first taken aback but then I realised that Apple and Samsung releases phones for $2000AUD because they fold or have good cameras. With a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, the Ally is essentially a great W11 laptop.

Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning Part 2 (aka Tom Cruise vs. AI) is one of the most ADHD riddled terribly built action movies with the most interesting stunt and set pieces I've ever seen. I had a great time. (Thread ensues).

I'm a little overwhelmed with gaming decisions this week. Taken 2 days off this week to sink my teeth into Doom: The Dark Ages. Still intend on playing through God of War Ragnarök which has also inspired me to play the original trilogy. And I want to fit Bioshock Infinite somewhere in between.

Sure, JRPGs aren't my favourite genre but I can appreciate when it gets such a big win with Clair Obscur Expedition 33 because it's a win for all gaming.

After watching two seasons of Severence, I can safely say its an intriguing, thoughtful show and has the right about of goofiness. You will be thinking about it for days after.

Last month's break gave me the reset I didn’t know I needed. Recovery from burnout isn’t just about rest. It’s about detaching completely from work and remembering how to be in the world. I feel more present, more aware. Hoping to stay out of the 'autopilot' for as long as I can.

For the 3 weeks in Japan, despite eating with blatant disregard I lost 2kg. Probably due to the 18k steps a day I was doing and the fact most of my meals were snacks. I've stolen Lumin_Wife's semi-faulty at-desk walking treadmill and will try to accomplish 18k every day for the next month.
