Especially when the resulting image is confusing as shit. Is he riding a backhoe into hell? Out of a volcano?

Genuine question: how’s it more convenient? Takes me one hand and 3 secs to tip the box and give her a shake. No measuring. I don’t even do the pre-wash amount separate—just kinda let it fall around the hole because my aim is bad. I found the pods to be FAR more expensive and their tubs more fiddly.

Nobody can convince me Trunk or Treat isn’t just depressing as hell.

More interested to know how many of these people would be identified as such by others.

Because he wrote it. They’re special characters.

Serious question: how is this better? Somebody gotta come remove five times as much paint now.

I honest to god thought the man with the barrel was some kind of bird dressed like a pirate until like two days ago. I’d say that’s because I only ever saw it from a distance, but I’ve actually been there at least once. It just wasn’t compelling enough to actually look at or something.

Not to mention being able to clearly see the same faded markings on the pavement (ex. the X), the identical placement of the manhole, flagpole, curbs, island, bollards…

Funny. I’d bet money on it being the same place on the sole basis of the plants. They’re the same species in both image. Same bush shapes around same 3 trees (crepes, leafless in winter). Even the shadow is where you’d expect it to be in summer vs winter.

Here in Pensacola, FL they revoked funding for replanting hurricane-devastated canopy, seemingly because there was language in the grant about equity (because the worst heat islands are in poor communities). Preventing heat stroke is too woke, I guess.

This is so lovely and tidy! I wish I could convince myself to use photo corners; I live in humidity central so they’ve left marks in the past and it scared me off them. So now I have this expensive, labor-intensive process, and that’s why 90% of my cards are still in ugly shoeboxes lol

Wrong. “According to some research, 1 tsp can produce results as high as 1,200 nanograms/millimeter. Tests can have different thresholds set for morphine. In the case mentioned in the previous section, the hospital tested for a threshold of 300 nanograms/millimeter.” From MedMark.

A poppy seed salad can have quite a lot of poppy seeds in it, as can poppy seed bagels that are coated in them, but it doesn’t take a huge amount. It’s well accepted poppy seeds can cause false positives in tests that use too low a threshold.

Oh look, another bathroom pervert who is not a trans person or a drag queen.

My grandma had 13 kids and died in her 90s, so none of her kids had kids at home and many were retired. The fam STILL had to hire help bc only a handful were willing/able to work shifts to monitor her. My mom did like 40% of them and it took a huge toll on her. Kids are not a retirement plan.

I love cats. Have had many. Nothing, and I mean nothing, smells as bad or is as nigh impossible to remove, as cat urine. You wanna remove cat pee from baseboards, rugs, or wood floors you gotta just replace them. It’s up there with rat urine. I hate pet rent too, but I get it.

Oh boy. I thought this was someone’s fictional character, like an excerpt from a badly written story. But this is a real man?

No. Our “gut” is full of irrationality, xenophobia, the baggage of trauma, and years of messaging from bad actors. Don’t ignore your gut, but always always challenge it. Test it against what can be known. Otherwise you’re acting on base animal instinct and the worst of human nature.

Apologies…cans of Campbell’s tomato soup. Tomato sauce would be too normal.

Latina blood don’t stop my white mama’s enchiladas made with the cans of tomato sauce from being my favorite. Love me a crunchy taco night.

My grandparents’ “homestead” was bigger than this, involved no grains (they bought those), they raised slop-eating pigs instead of ludicrously space-hogging cattle, and lived in a climate with two growing seasons per year…and they still shot and ate squirrels. (And bought stuff off of neighbors.)

Update: He’s still doing it, albeit less punctually.
