The best part of my year in sport is you can tell exactly when I took the peloton ride where the instructor said "an hour on a stationary bike is kind of like two hours biking outside." Between that encouragement & the AQI, I basically did all my training inside and my active hours declined.

I'm starting to think it might be time to see a doctor about my elbow pain. It hurt before I used it to break a fall on some ice, but now it hurts more.

Have you ever been on the most cursed BRT trip where you hit every light? That was me tonight.

Why do I get so many Instagram ads for used g wagons?

A bus looked like it was pulling to my stop while I was in a bus shelter walking to the front of the stop and just drove off instead of stopping. How do I convince people to ride the bus when I bail on them because the next bus wasn't for 30 minutes?

I returned two library books I requested months ago the same day I finished them. Hopefully everyone else reading the series one of them was in is doing the same thing.

After baking nothing at 450 per the manual's instructions, my first real use of the new oven is roasting some garlic. My air purifier has not turned itself on high as a result of using the oven and that's exactly what I've been dreaming of.

I pulled my old stove out and found more evidence the previous owner was bad at painting walls. I asked the donation pickup driver if it was okay and they weren't worried about it. However, they told me this was the first time this has ever happened.

The Home Depot employee wished my dad and I good luck with our repair. I guess buying a flare valve cap and a gas leak detector probably does imply something went wrong.

Is "but the bigger houses that cost 150k more than mine have a lower market value for taxes than my house does" a winning argument in property evaluation tax court?

I'm for my "is it time to get rid of my gas range this Black Friday season?" research. The range I've been eyeing is like $500 more expensive pre-sale, but at least $200 less than it was last year?

I need the sample ballots to show me how electing multiple people works because I forgot, but all the complicated voting is missing from the Secretary of state's sample ballot.

I apparently did the worst thing I could possibly to do my dog in his eyes: made him come inside after peeing, then took him on a walk 15 minutes later after I ate my snack. We're back from the walk and he still won't come over to be near me.

Full disclosure update from my post about walking home with dog food: I did stop and take a texting break for a couple minutes and put the bag down. Maybe don't do arms the same day as dog food buying day.

Explaining how to get a tire appointment at Costco sounds kind of like telling someone to fall for a phishing site.

I wonder how many people stop on the gofundme donate page when it tries to suggest a recurring donation for some obscene amount. (Or maybe this is a me thing like when I was getting ads for cars with payments higher than my apartment rent was).

I can't decide what my favorite item of the six I split at the Dahlia pop up. I actually still haven't touched two of them because I got full. My body is actually just sugar right now.

I personally use one side of a note card for work tasks and the other for the personal tasks that pop into my head.

This is a really good season of love is blind so far. I feel a bit uncomfortable watching these people, but it's good tv.

Sometimes my transit choice is determined by bathroom availability too. I wanted to take a long walk to last spring, but if I take a 3 hour round trip journey, I'll need to drink water. I biked that trip and coincidentally heard some people new to the area ask where to find a public bathroom.

I should start tracking how I left my house and how far I traveled (approximately). I'm about to drive for the first time in about 2.5 weeks because I will not be bringing a folding table and chairs on the bus.

That post about Minneapolis people not walking reminded me of the time someone asked me why I walked to the grocery store over biking. If it's half a mile, walking is more convenient. What's the point of lifting weights if not to carry a 35 pound bag of dog food home?

I blew off a canvasser walking in Whittier today and now I wish I hadn't because I did have some time. I felt because I don't live in ward 10, there's really no sense engaging. She also looked sad, so I didn't really feel like pointing out why I wouldn't vote for her candidate.
