He did apologize for scaring me, we had a good chat, he said he’d invite me over for fire pit Fridays. But he was literally standing at the bottom of my driveway like this at first.

I had turf toe 2 years ago. Mine was only a partial tear, but it was still an unpleasant experience and had me in a boot for 6-8 weeks. Playing football with one would be impossible. Fun fact, this is not the first stereotypically football-related injury I’ve gotten while not playing football.

One of the big projects in the last week was mounting my puck collection. A lot of these are from the 90s and have been sitting in boxes for years, but now they all have a home.

This is one of my “you know you’re old when” purchases. A battery storage case with a little gizmo to test the charge. I kept finding all these partial packs of batteries, some just stray loose ones. So I bought this and now they’re all contained.

The guest bathroom in my new house has this built-in toilet paper holder/magazine rack, so I put this there to make people laugh when they use it

I saw these “What would Dolly do?” embroidered cloth cocktail napkins on a girls’ weekend in Nashville in 2017. I loved them, but had no use for them, so I said I was going to make art instead. I got this rustic frame and I *finally* put the two pieces together and it looks exactly like I wanted.
