The intersection of fascism and finally getting diagnoses / help with my family’s mental health is just fucking ridiculous. Both are stupidly expensive and time consuming.

my friends, I am in a 10-person capacity record bar in Tokyo requesting songs and drinking Japanese whisky. the owners are a married couple chain smoking behind the bar, slinging cocktails, and spinning records.

It’s plausible that we have more vitriolic “last showgirl” opinions than past presidential voters. Bless.

Anyone else placing bets that his Tylenol BS is to get ahead of the world learning that Baron is on the spectrum? His Ascorbic Acidness could never be part of the problem…

Intrusive thought of the day: do Brits “prefer” bland food because their kitchens are designed for cold weather & lack ventilation?

The world at large has devolved into a level of ignorance that discerning a nightmare from waking hours has become challenging.

I can’t stop thinking about Rhode Island’s relationship w calamari.

As I understand it, RI exports nearly all of its squid to China for processing & then re-imports it for us to consume “local” calamari.

So… tariff at export. Tariff at import. Taxed at sale. And taxed at restaurant? Baffling.

I used to tell cashiers I was Canadian to end aggressive “do you want a credit card” conversations. Now I do it because that dude is fucking embarrassing

Economic blackout during Black History Month.
🤔

Idk about y’all but from where I stand there is always nefarious timing alongside so many of these kinds of efforts. Don’t take one damn minute away from spending on Black owned businesses.

Some good news in Providence: It’s warm enough to plant radish & other cold-loving treats like mizuna today!
Cold stratified beauties like carrot, poppy, pansy, & hollyhock also love to hit the dirt about now, but won’t quite give that quick satisfaction. Photo: May #garden part- planted in March

Someone please tell me why I have a prescribing NP who needed my help with dosage of a common medication?

The human being with zero professional experience should likely not be the one. But here we are.
