So I’m at the ASHRAE conference and the sessions reporting on cold climate heat pump performance research that have been running over the last 4 years are cancelled. US federal employees, including a set of brilliant researchers working in energy efficiency, have been told they can’t participate.

Heat pump (2 of ?) installed earlier this week. This one services the primary bedroom suite and hallway. After the living room/kitchen unit was installed it became clear we will need one more in the entryway/dining room area. We also found out the sliding doors in the kitchen should be replaced 🙃
