i watched the whole thing, but if you’re ever looking to just see the TTPD set (new for the post-first US tour leg), skip the the 2:17 mark. it’s incredible.

it is also delightful to see how much more confidence there was with the filming and the editing from the initial LA shows to the finale.

and the huuuge amount of confidence Taylor carried into that final Vancouver run. it’s almost a different person on stage.

this was on a decently modern Sony camera. but they’re not the only ones. my Canons (R6MII) also have issues with this.

it’s so aggravating and embarrassing and just just just AHHHHH c’mon, there has to be a way.

… and then it gets to a darker skinned person and acts like they’re not there. a blank space. worse yet, it’s picked up the next person in line AFTER them, someone also with fair skin.

was shooting video tonight and doing a slow pan down a row of singers, maybe 12 total. i can see the little AF boxes pop up on their heads and faces, indicating potential points of focus. it’s performing beautifully.
