Bluesky seems pretty decent for urbanists, but most other things in here feel like a total void.

Glad to see the OG Green Party legend @ralphnader.bsky.social on here! Still the all time top Green Party presidential run!

I feel the same way about car lanes and parked cars.
It’s amazing how critics perceive bike lanes to be “everywhere” and “out of control” even when a large majority of roads don’t have bike lanes.

I love this illustration. Ending the housing crisis really is not that hard.
Housing families in comfortably sized homes can be done in less land than you think. This is what makes cities, this is how you house new jobs, provide prosperity and avoid a crisis; legalizing cities

The density problem that most of North America suffers from is the density of cars.
A lot of cities think they have a “density problem.” Many are right, but not in the way they think. The biggest density problem most cities really have starts with the fact that they’re having the entirely wrong conversation about density.

We should transition California from a state of renters, to a state of owners. True community stakeholders.

The largest voting block in the U.S. is independent. Votes should be earned and not expected.
A dangerous narrative is re-emerging: Red v. Blue. Don’t be fooled by Fox News or MSNBC. More people chose NEITHER party, than EITHER party in ‘24.

Almost 90 million Americans stayed home rather than endorsing either Democrats or Republicans. This is far more than voted for either party.#duopoly

I really think we should start framing housing more like we do with cars in North America. As long as it meets legal requirements for safety and is registered you can do it. From Honda civics to Bentleys, they are all allowed in public space.

Would really love to hear some thoughts from Californians around their most important issues. From what I have heard, most people say housing and homelessness.
