We need to somehow keep Senate Dems from bailing on unity if we want to fight united.
And it's getting harder and harder to see the point of victory in November if it returns the current batch of Senate Dems to office.

Good point about the stakes! Would've been nice to see Senate Dems use the leverage they just gave away in exchange for nothing.

What on earth does this mean? Senate Dems seem to have a different understanding of "fight" than I do.

Didn’t realize the statute had a fear of injury component. I guess this former criminal defense attorney was sure it was nullification based on assumptions about misdemeanor assault charges that didn’t track the statute.
