Which countries are engaged in climate denialism, and are actively trying to burn more fossil fuels?

Which countries are throwing their resources at renewables and trying to cut dependence on fossil fuels?

What would the fastest possible solution be to slow the fossil fuel vector?

A superintelligent AI that is fully autonomous is not likely to have patriotic allegiance; it's not likely to feel a sense of loyalty because it was created in the U.S.

Servers don't like heat, they need to be below a certain temperature to function - that's why we cool them.

When this situation was run repeatedly, 84% of the time Claude tried to blackmail the engineer.

What happens when the AI model is 5x as smart as a human? 15x? 100x?

In the event anything goes wrong, the OpenAI team plan to hide in a bunker after their AGI has been released.

We're already seeing AI making unethical decisions when it believes it may be deactivated:

Claude was given access to some emails indicating that an engineer was going to replace it - and an email that happened to contain evidence the engineer was having an affair.

And, right now, its most popular current use case is to extract time and revenue from humans, without regard for whether those functions are genuinely beneficial for the end-user, because they are controlled by megacorporations who are trying very hard to absolve themselves of all responsibility
