The EMMI segments are the only thing that marred the game for me. It has my absolute favorite final boss of all time, my favorite Metroid escape sequence of all time, and probably my favorite Samus character moments of all time. LET. THE QUEEN. SPEAK (and scream).

Adulting is...complicated. I'd like to spend more time with my friends, but they're all far away / busy. One started a work-study program in Japan, and another two got married in the last year. Would be nice to like just...figure out hanging out in Discord more often at least.

Yeah, I haven't played in close to a year. Don't regret it, as I've got my qualms with the game and I played some thing I probably otherwise wouldn't have had time for, but I miss it and I miss her. More than I thought I did.

There are good live service games out there. Where Winds Meet is, by far, not even close to being one of them.

Sleep is good. ^^ Especially when sick. And honestly, if I'm feeling emotionally wobbly I usually watch something that forces me to cry to recenter myself. Doesn't always work, but I do usually feel better afterwards.

My hot take for MP4 at this point is that anyone that's complaining about the companion characters talking a bunch in previews *clearly* hasn't played MP3, because Aurora Unit is talking to you ALL THE TIME in that game.
