Giving up on edge cases like trans female athletes in high-level sports does not mean surrender on trans rights.

Moderation Is Not the Same Thing as Surrender
Democrats do not, in fact, face a choice between championing trans rights and completely abandoning them.

Call Trump out. Putin plays him. He has no influence over Putin, obviously. If Putin had ANY respect for Trump, he could get concessions. Point out his impotence.

Dear Dems. This is a reminder that Donald Trump rescinded the ethics rules preventing gifts to executive branch employees.

Now would be a good time to propose legislation formalizing the prevention into a law

Time to do things that make him react to you.

Trump has canceled Biden's ethics rules. Critics call it the opposite of 'drain the swamp'
Donald Trump took office eight years ago pledging to “drain the swamp” of the dominance of Washington influence peddlers.

Dems should propose a law that immediately requires every fed agency to post on @bsky.app account, every outlay with a detailed description, $, and a link to existing gov sites with in depth details

Rather than trying to keep Elon out, pre-empt him so he cant miss characterize spending.

Having known many Russian billionaires, it always surprises me when people believe that you become a better person when you become a billionaire. That you would have enough, stop doing crimes and become more civil.
It is usually the opposite: Billionaires become more greedy & competitive.

Others have noted it but I will too: The big reason Bluesky is so hot right now is that the people who add value to social media - the frequent posters in specific fields - are here now, talking to each other and creating the "spectator value" that draws users and attention.

Trump is systematically seeking to minimize the crime of sex abuse by nominating so many associated with sexual abuse to top jobs. He is seeking to further institutionalize the core mantra of MAGA "men," "Your body, my choice." The nominations are themselves therefore a form of sex abuse.

Yeah when Trump was trying to distance himself from project 2025 he claimed he'd blacklist any of its authors from government, yet here's one who'll be in charge of the FCC
As was completely predictable, he picked a dude who wrote the telecom chapter in the Project 2025 plan he “never heard about” during the campaign
