Tuesday: realize the new feature needs to handle Situation X

Wednesday: come up with a detailed, thoughtful plan for handling Situation X. immediately after writing it, get very morose. decide not to push myself to complete it, go do other stuff.

I gotta be honest I don't think the code I'm writing is living up to the example Keith Jarrett's music is setting.

I'm cataloging my maternal grandfather's papers. He was born to a German Jewish family in Marseilles, and got a doctorate in physics at the University of Basel. He moved to the US in the 1930s to get away from the Nazis, first New York, then (for health reasons) to California.

Setting a reminder to check in on this in six months.
