Day 169/365 | 233/10,000hrs
I still find it crazy that I have been programming for 200+ days now.

While I haven't made any money, I have learned a lot, going from 0 programming skills to now building my first app.

Here are 5 tools that have been essential for my journey so far:

📘Day 197

No "exciting" changes today 😂

I optimized the image querying because my original version took 8 seconds to load posts

Before:
- Query and attach pfp to each post instance

Now:
- Takes all unique author ids
- Creates object with all unique pfps
- Grabs those in html

📘Day 173 (Coding Journal)

Absolutely HUGE progress today & yesterday.

2 Changes:
- Posts can link to the author
- Clicking on posts can open their designated page

It's crazy how finding that project in that challenge-skills sweet spot can really get you in a flow state

I don't want to stop

📘Day 171 (Coding Journal)

I had a spark of inspiration today.

I was originally planning for this project to be quick, but I now wish to expand on it

What was originally going to be a brief project is going to become a complete forum style site
(inspiration from Reddit and X)

📘Day 169 (Daily Coding Journal)

Made progress learning how to make an account system.

The last few days I've got a home page working with an editable description and option to change your password.

I've learned a lot so far, building this!
