I've had way too many "viruses" that retrospectively look way more like panic attacks / meltdowns / psychosomatic crap, because the timing is way too sus

Go for it. The diagnosis changed so much in my life even though I got it as an adult having everything kinda sorted out (I'm autistic). I thought I'd just get validated with an official stamp lol. I got so much more out of it.

That would be so easy to fix with a simple question instead of just thinking 😅 but yeah if he's an undiagnosed not accommodated autistic then I can see where it's all coming from, my dad's likely one as well

I'd say this is not a small thing, because it's not just about the coffee, it's about lack of communication and the unjustness of it. Autistic people tend to feel this kind of hurt more acutely. And on top of all that, you lost coffee.
