Dipped into the news this morning, then wished I hadn't. Then had to unfollow a number of people who post/repost a lot of news and politics. It's not a reflection on the people, I have to look after my mental health, I can't afford to be ill again. Unfollowing is okay. Social media can be positive.

My morning class was great! Most of them have amazing ideas for their research projects, the ones that haven't gotten a clear idea yet are thinking about it, and it's always surprising to me when I have immediate suggestions on scholars they can look at. It's like I know what I'm doing.
