It's really satisfying listening to it again after so long and noticing I understand much more 😊

我很久没有听茶歇中文,现在是有点更容易的 😁
你怎么用Google AI studio造成这个?是难做的吗?我把AI studio还没听说过。

Well, now I can say it was definitely worth it :p can't wait for the next year's gathering and to meet again some wonderful people 😊

Same, as a language enthusiast and an introvert it's both super exciting and terrifying haha

It will be my first PG, and you? :)

That would be so fun! Maybe other AI tool has that option? I would defintely use it.

Do you later come back and re-read the stories or learn from the vocabulary list?
May 13, 2025 at 3:28 PM
How cool! What level were you on when you decided to read it in another language? Did your approach changed with different languages or you read the books in the same way? Like translating unknown words, underlining them etc. 😀

What didn't work with the scenarios?
I did a similar thing but instead of choosing the ending I asked it to finish each story with some sort of a cliffhanger and the story would resume when I asked it to continue. As a beginner in Swedish it worked pretty well. Still don't know the ending though ;P

Maybe we'll be on the same coach then 😁

I did progress in Italian a lot while chatting with a friend from Türkiye who has a higher level than me
It is somewhat less stressing speaking with non natives, they had to learn the same things before and did mistakes as well.
But you have to be extra careful making mistakes not to learn sth wrong

Through languages I can appreciate more deeply the vast number of texts, music, poems. But also when life gets overwhelming it's a great getaway for me. So as long as it is meaningful and it brings joy for me or people around me it's the best thing I could have ever chosen to do.

The feeling of mystery, of solving it and then starting to grasp the meaning is just something I love.
I like how it allows communicating with others. I like to learn how to express feelings and ideas in new ways, how the same things may be different from different backgrounds.

Even though that's a list of the languages I would most likely choose first to learn, it doesn't mean I won't choose different ones that I may need or feel a close connection to.
There are so many of them and it's unrealistic to learn all of them, but I like how it feels to learn new things.
February 13, 2025 at 9:38 PM
Well, I'm not sure which languages I'll manage to learn in this life but I would like to learn more about these specifically 😊
The list is based on a few factors, like family/friends, sth that is unique for me in it, relation to my other interests, it's spoken where my ancestors lived (more or less)
February 12, 2025 at 9:29 PM
It's impressive, also many languages I would love to speak one day! 😁
Do you plan to learn related languages separately? Or as someone who studied and speaks a bunch of similar languages it doesn't really matter that much? 😃
January 15, 2025 at 5:14 PM
Thanks 😁 I did the same thing based on your screenshot few months back, it was a great idea! I'll look for it as well, I should have it saved somewhere.

Maybe for you it would be good to do a comparison or find out how many motivatiors could get you through the learning phase like having friends who speak the language, it sounds good for you, is it considered difficult etc.
I think @santpolyglot.bsky.social once shared something similar on Twitter 🤔
January 12, 2025 at 9:07 PM
That's so true, with some languages I have a superficial connection but other resonate with me because of my other interests which are connected to the language through history, geography etc.
Like I had been learning Old Norse and then Norwegian for a time because of my interest in norse mythology😊
January 12, 2025 at 9:06 PM
Would you mind sharing it? Let's see how many we may have in common 😁
