I am very worried about this polarisation. But this is the leading populist reading of the social scene, and I feel that a more thoughtful public is helpless in the face of it.

We will start by listening to Juliet Floyd (BU), who will talk about the virtues of Turing's analysis of effective computability from a philosophical point of view, and then re-read the Turing Test as an experiment in human phraseology, i.e. a human-to-human experiment in the face of machines.

I would love to join! I am a philosopher and cognitive scientist working in the area of arithmetic and computation. I lecture in critical thinking, logic and recently in AI. I am an assistant professor at Warsaw University of Technology and I am affiliated with the University of Gothenburg
