Katelyn appears to be in alignment with me on both that front as well as her stance on Israel, my two biggest (only, really) gripes with McBride. I'm not calling for her to be hung out to dry but, among trans people, I think it's reasonable to call out bad leadership RE: our rights.

My complaint is about the first trans member of congress setting a very bad precedent that has material harm on those of us with much smaller platforms. This isn't about some insignificant virtue signal; this is about abiding harmful rules without nary a word.

Glad Katelyn called her out for her acquiescence on the bathroom issue. This is a well thought out piece.

I meant to say that I read that in your piece and agreed but failed to do so. That and her stance on Israel (which you also mention) are my main gripes with her. And remain so. Otherwise she's fine.
