That sounds really hard. I'm super lucky not to be in that position of doing 24-7 care, but even so I find what I am doing draining. I hope you can get some respite. Sending you big hugs.

Yes you have to be constantly proactive and pushing for options and investigating solutions. Because nothing is ever made easy or seamless

Not having every aspect of the health service (that I deal with) being as slow, inefficient and unpleasant to deal with as possible, would certainly make my life easier as a carer. No criticism of the individual staff but their systems are awful
