I wonder if superficial attraction plays a role. Relationships not born online sometimes bloom out of friendships, in which you've got to know a person prior to judging their appearance. Perhaps if you'd first seen that person on a dating app you'd have swiped left and missed a beautiful opportunity

You will also become a motorist with an awareness and consideration for other, more vulnerable road users

I also attempt the short chill to achieve cellar temperature, but I don't think to set a timer and it results in the beer doing an in-fridge-out-fridge hokey cokey as I leave it to get too cold or too warm. (NB I only do this with English ales, not local Aussie beers, which need proper chilling)

This poor man should be granted a permanent visa so he can receive the medical treatment he needs for such a horrific injury. Not only surgical and physio treatment, but psychological support for the trauma. This will be a long recovery

Those are not foreign policy issues, and people don't end up homeless because on one day their commute to work takes a little longer. Direct action has a history of effective outcomes, including for workers' rights. The right to protest is a fundamental element of living in a democracy.

Australia isn't a hermit kingdom, and foreign policy is important. If we were experiencing famine and genocide would you not want other nations to stand up and do something about it? Politics aside, it's a matter of compassion

If you ever wondered what happens when a bollard runs for office, look no further than Peter Dutton.

Stubborn, immobile, and completely detached from the flow of modern Australia, he spent his leadership standing in the way of everything, offering nothing, and somehow expecting applause for it.

I suspect Labor are attempting to win votes from the centre, and have given up on welfare recipients and renters as lost cause Greens voters. They will regret it as more gen Z come of voting age

I wish him all the best. I've been following this remarkable story with great interest. If the long term outcome for Prof Scolyer is cancer-free it will pave the way for future brain cancer patients
