I have made kheer. I wanted basic beeyatch rice pudding, but pudding rice was not to be had. So saffron & cardamom basmati rice pudding with sultanas & almonds it is. Nice.

Question- any other UK places had their post offices suddenly closed with no notice or idea of when they will reopen? At least 10 affected in Liverpool. Post Office HO unwilling/unable to explain.
