Well, there was a gate here... The time of the veil is thin. What will you do?

A page for writing, in ~8mm, depending on your printer setup.
The original idea had him standing, with his shadow crawling up the brick surface.

Platonic solids, mathematical objects,and...A mug and a donut? Multipart joke: much to Gaster, yet also to topology - a donut and cup are 'the same.'

Purity of ideas within the void and noosphere, consideration of how they aggregate, of what evolves. Gaster's nature therein.

Another page, this time in a theme of stones and crystals. First books, then touch, now crystals - not a bad mix, in my nature of preferences.

Gaster is meant to differ in each, and for now, so is the border. Color, shade, or tracery and ink - a higher print weight helps.

Another Gaster therapy page, this one with slightly larger border graphics. I find that I enjoy shading them with graphite to relax. Marker or a bit of watercolor, too.

I'd have toned back the sign of the eye, but my printer tends not to pick up on it otherwise.

The world has been stressful, so I decided to start making print pages for relaxing. A little bit of open thought, a suggestion in text or picture, and a surface on which to draw or write

Gaster has a pipe. There is a touch of implied landscape, along with an experiment with border details

Another Gaster book complete. This time, for meaning, the sign of his hand having the rightful Monster four digits. Thorn symbol beside

Small book, made more to see if I could make one at that format. I could also try book edge trimming without a guillotine or book plough.

While time is lacking, small windows into the mind are liberating.

Created on a notion without thought, Gaster is represented in various abstract forms, as well as more recognizable ones. Is an open psyche also a type of freedom to an entity of variable existence?

Time for art has been short. Three thumbnails at the base have been all I have managed of late.

Yet, the imagery of Gaster is there. You might recognize the top set from the intended 666 sketches (sketch page is titled just that)

Made without thought, there is almost a threatening portent

Nearly asleep, an image like this came to mind. It did not sense of encapsulation, but a seed or force waiting to begin.

An exercise to test a new 3.15mm graphite holder, with watercolor, ink washes, and some general writing ink and P.H. Martin's Bleed-Proof White.

Ramb thinks you should keep going on the ideas you were scribbling.

I had the thought that Ramb can rather naturally write upside down toward the viewer, since he is used to helping people or putting feedback on materials.

Slightly different digital technique here.

After two traditional pages of stumbling around not knowing what to do with the interpretation of Ramb, here is some practice work

Saturated, strong colours are not my point of general use,so that is also new territory. My ideas for Ramb actually have the whole artificial-entity body surface planned

I feel like my book belongs in the circle. Well, actually, multiple books would belong there... This one is merely the most interesting.
July 12, 2025 at 8:10 PM
Well, I belted this out rather quickly. (I assume that Bluesky does no favours for wide-format works.)

A mild commentary, probably full of muffled yelling. The alien/character has a point, in that at least you cannot doomscroll on a classical newspaper, and it can later be cathartically shredded.

Small thought with regards to Chapters 2/3 of Deltarune:
I've seen people bring up Werewires, but never ferrules (maybe I missed it somewhere).

Thus: 'feral wiring/electricity.' Would explain some of the interpretation.

A certain someone could also play with them in a power strip.

Actually, this is the first 3 of 9, from only the second set of an intended 666 drawings. They're not really meant to be thought on or nearly this complex.

Yet, the effort stands: do not think, just create. Refine the process. Let it be.

... What will #Gaster have to say or become, throughout?

Here are the hidden drawings or artwork inside the standard notebook. Fast Wingdings and Gaster drawings, hidden in spaces and materials that will never be seen unless the book is rebound or destroyed.

I liked the sketches of Gaster better under the mild bloom imparted by the book paste.

I hope for this to be my new 'Standard' notebook. It is a springback, with decoration in gold paint. (Tried hot-tool leaf and sizing; result too messy)

Styled after a particular Royal Scientist. ~400 pages, with many partial-signatures to allow expansion materials.

My little experiment... Now to do this 73 more times.

I wonder what rules or preferences I will find, over time? Either way, it does not matter.

The thoughts I have are simple: when you start focussing too much, move onto the next. No need for rationality. Accept the wild morph of new forms.

A fine binder I am certainly not, but I do prize durability. Any book of my own use is one I also experiment with, including in this case afterthoughts to observe durability.

Inner cover has a raised rim. Gaster-ish design: stained glass window interpretation, black hole.

I typically don't participate in these. I am obliged to ask myself internally "Am I doing it right?"

It is good to return to traditional work of Gaster again. A personal piece with symbolic elements that I do not quite have an answer for - a tendency which happens often, be it script or symbol.(Maybe egg)

Not quite the whole image; a leaning more toward interpretive iconography.

I've taken up a sketchbook to use before I rest. Typically it is nonsense, but this page came up with three Gasters. I threw some digital effects on it to see what would happen.

I haven't found a version of simplification of light and form that I am at ease with yet.

A digital exercise of Gaster. I am still trying to simplify my works and make them more swift. (It tends not to work.)

From the bowl he is holding: tea, incense, an essence of peace?

Meant as a low-angle portrait exercise, including in working with more ink contrast, Gaster seems... Quietly angry, tired, resolute. (Perhaps it encompasses my regard of recent times.)

There are eye-glow glints on the scar and socket that I like.

A small sketch of Gaster from my sketchbook, there for relief and exercise of technique. A gentle inquisitiveness.

A side of me wants to capture more bone or skull detail in the subtle blue col-erase, all the while embracing the simple forms and textures of ink and watercolor hues.
