I’ve made it through 2 Halloweens this year - one at the campground where I am a seasonal camper and the real one at home tonight. I gave out candy to more than 700 children between the two trick or treat events. It is wonderful to see such joy on their faces, and yet, I weep for their future.

If you’re just pissed off, like me, about the price of groceries, you’re lucky. You’re not making decisions like paying for housing/utilities/medical expenses vs. eating. Please support your local food banks - now!
People should never, ever go hungry in America! It is beyond unacceptable.

This is 25 miles from my home. I’ve turned into an old lady who peeks through the curtains upon hearing any noise on the street outside my house.

I live catty corner from a funeral home. Doesn’t bother me. It gives me the opportunity to pray for people I don’t know. Today there was a wake, lots of cars parked on my street. I saw in the paper the name of the deceased, and I worried that ICE was going to show up. That bothers me.

I’m financially supporting Dems locally and nationally as much as possible. Please don’t think you’re impotent and can’t do anything about this. It all matters.

Yes. Don’t come here. My brother lives in Australia and I’ve told him the same. That it isn’t safe for him to come home for a visit with our 84 year old mother, his siblings, his niece and nephew and their children (2 of them newborns), well It’s just heartbreaking.
