Aber spricht man ein oder zwei "st"? Inzwischen habe ich das Wort so oft vor mich hin gesagt, dass ich es selbst nicht mehr weiß, weil es jetzt in jedem Fall komisch klingt 😅

Weil "selbständig" FURCHTBAR aussieht?! Da fehlt doch was. Man spricht es "selbst"-"ständig" aus, nicht "selbst"-"ändig" oder "selb"-"ständig".

They're doing some pretty neat stuff with photons at PETRA now, performing all kinds of research in medical and material sciences and so on. But my personal highlight is the old HERA-b Experiment. Sure, it's outdated and shut down, but how often do you get to see one of the large particle detectors?

That's pretty cool, but to me, personally, the uncertainty on the Boltzmann constant is even more satisfying. Zero. It's exact by definition. Sooo satisfying.
