I wonder how much downtown activity would increase if people could park cheaply and didn't have to worry about a stolen bike.

X's AI platform is prompting "why avoid public transit?" on a post about NYC's new congestion pricing.

Results primarily include concerns over safety.

In other words: a car salesman is fear-mongering you out of public transit (see chart—cars are far deadlier).

North American cities were primarily designed for one mode of transportation.

Now we’re faced with more vehicles than available space, and politicians falsely claim this problem can be solved by continuing the same trend.

A bicycle would need to travel on a road 160,000 times to cause as much wear and tear as single motor vehicle trip.
