All the pics I post are mine, unless they are reposts

Equipment:
SW 130PDS
SW Eqm-35pro
Stock EOS 2000D
Baader MPCC Mk. III cc
Sv106 guidescope
Zwo asi 120mm mini guide cam
Multi-star guiding should allow me to lower the guide camera's exposure time so more corrections can be applied in Ra. (2/2)

That mount can definitely withstand the wind better than mine does 😂
Does it have tracking?

Domani è sereno ma non potrò fare fotografia deepsky per via della luna piena, mi limiterò a calibrare la montatura con PHD2 :)
Dopodiché sarà nuvoloso fino al 4 gennaio 😂

I had to paint the bolts that hold the dovetail base in place matt black to avoid internal reflections

TL;DR I've got a few things to improve my ap sessions once I get the new scope

I've also bought an externally powered USB 3.0 HUB, since I had an issue where my laptop would stop sending tracking inputs to my mount, probably because it couldn't provide its usb ports with enough electricity

Anyway, If you don't want to lose your files and if you have another computer to download windows from, you could install windows on a cheap external drive & then run your pc on it, after unplugging the old drive. If you're ok with losing your files you can do a factory reset

With guiding, of course 😏

The telescope I had used previously (6") would weigh 7kg on my mount (EQM-35 pro) with accessories. A 130PDS with the same stuff on it would weigh just 5.4kg, which is very close to my mount's limit for photography but still pretty good, considering that with the old setup I could take 60" exposures
