In the gaming world, you know a brand needs money as soon as it starts spamming collab content with other big brands.

Right, #MagicTheGathering? 🫠

Today at the company we finally dropped the last project we were still hosting on Vercel and moved it to a dedicated server.

A small satisfaction, I have to admit.

Yes, in the end I went back to Omarell and decided to stick with something more standard on #Gnome.

Still, the #Forge experiment remains available here for anyone who wants to give it a look: omakasui.org/manuals/omaf...
#Omarell has reached v1.5.2! 🔥
I'm very satisfied with its progress, as well as my own. Working on this really helped me learn Linux.

#Omakub has been a great driving force, and #Omarchy continues to fuel it. #GNOME, as it's, is still a very respectable DE.

Yes, #Omakub has been a bit neglected lately in favor of #Omarchy.
But I believe it still has room to grow, with more contributions and improvements.

That’s why I’ve started a full refactor, based on Omarchy approach.

Soooo... PR here: 😇

[Proposal] Update Omakub based on Omarchy by Kasui92 · Pull Request #543 · basecamp/omakub
Note This PR is a proposal and not yet complete. The migrations between versions are still missing, and I’m looking for feedback from anyone willing to test, given the amount of work involved in th...

I totally understand all the "hype" (lol!) about #hyprland... Yet #GNOME continues to be a really cool playground for trying out new mixes of extensions and customizations. 🔥

I'm very proud of the work done with Omarell!

I'm now using this Ubuntu configuration on almost all my PCs and it takes me very little time to install it.

The next step is to prepare it for Ubuntu Server too. 🫡

I recently went to both #phpday and #jsday, two very interesting events to understand these languages and future of the web development.

I came away encouraged... until I discovered Google and Microsoft agents and Claude 4.

Thank goodness in Italy #wordpress is still very popular. 🐢

I really know the struggle!
Great talk at #phpday @secondej.bsky.social 👏

I’ve been playing around with React to try authenticating with Quria for Destiny 2’s APIs and... DAMN! The more I use Next.js, the more I feel like I’m just surrendering to a lot of magic under the hood. 🫠

Honestly, Vite and other simpler bundlers feel way closer to “pure React” experience.

Is it just me, or does #Ubuntu sometimes feel a bit too close to #Windows in the eyes of the #Linux community? Just a vibe. 👀

And I don't know why!

I have nothing against #Edge as a browser in itself, but on #Microsoft continuous and stressful push towards the use of this.

But the annoying thing is another...

Microsoft ends Authenticator password autofill, moves users to Edge
Microsoft has announced that it will discontinue the password storage and autofill feature in the Authenticator app starting in July and will complete the deprecation in August 2025.

It's April... And I'm at 3%.
Not bad. 🐢
"Don't procrastinate" is my goal for this year. And it's going pretty well!

By February, I’ve completed two side projects and trimmed down my long to-do list at home.

I'm happy with this 1% progress.

Just dropped Omarell 👴—a personal remix of #Omakub with some totally optional (and definitely unrequested) tweaks.
It’s like Omakub, but with tortellini on the stove and GNOME settings getting more love than they asked for.

Now that I’ve discovered #ItalianBrainrot, I can safely say that Mafia and Tortellini with Sauce are no longer the worst things my country has given the world.

It's incredible how everytime I let my guard down, #Next.js hurts me immediately after.

In a hard and unexpected way.

With some "it's by design" bullshit.

I really don't understand all this wave of appreciation for #Cursor.

Really, I don't know what's new or interesting compared to before.

Anyone who wants to explain it to me?

Scrivi.la is a great platform for distraction-free writing.

Unlike many note-taking tools that add features beyond what’s needed, it keeps things simple and intuitive.

I never thought I'd use it so much... and I love it!

Today in Milan, a student activist group hung a trash-filled effigy of Musk upside down on a gate outside of piazzale Loreto, where Mussolini's body was displayed in 1945.
They left the message: "C'è sempre posto a piazzale Loreto, Elon" (There's always room in piazzale Loreto, Elon)

In 2024 I installed #LineageOS on my old OnePlus 6, just to extends its life a little bit.

Now, I find it even harder to part with it.
