This partially sums up why I think destabilization efforts in Venezuela will be a cluster ****. I would add:
* Libya, Iraq are examples of bad outcomes
* Unite South America against US
* Potential military failures (eg Operation Eagle Claw)
* Rally around the flag effect in Venezuela

Really looks like the United States is about to launch a regime change war against Venezuela with:
-No casus belli
-No authorization from Congress
-No allies or international support
-No plan for a post-Maduro Venezuela
-No preparation for any sort of stabilization or containment of the fallout

In a new batch of emails released by Democrats on the House oversight committee, Jeffrey Epstein wrote that Donald Trump knew about the late financier and sex-offender’s crimes. In the three emails released, Epstein apparently told his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell that Trump “spent hours” at his house with one of Epstein’s victims.
In two other emails to author Michael Wolff, Epstein wrote that “of course he knew about the girls”, referring to the now-president. According to the exchanges, Epstein also solicited Wolff’s advice about how he should handle Trump discussing their friendship in an interview with CNN. “I think you should let him hang himself,” Wolff writes. “If he says he hasn’t been on the plane or to the house, then that gives you a valuable PR and political currency. More specifically: a failure to fund the government is called a lack or failure of "supply" in most parliamentary systems and is always treated as a matter of confidence in the government.

The Trump administration is opening the entire 1.56 million acres of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge’s coastal plain to oil and gas drilling. This area is home to diverse wildlife including polar bears, caribou, and migratory birds.

There's a quality to certain crisp, cloudless, colourful autumn days that is both defiant and galvanising, an invitation to better ourselves before the winter not far ahead.
Is it maybe due to childhood memories of school year beginnings? Or is it hard-wired in our ancestors’ foraging habits?
