Why do we need a theorisation? (1) Tt moves us towards a much more multidimensional understanding of abortion (beyond healthcare), (2) It allows us potentially engage with "wellbeing" across subjective and objective domains, & (3) it allows us to consider abortion over the lifecourse/transitions 3/

that #abortion is a key component of health & wellbeing - & denial has a detrimental impact on wellbeing is frequently asserted in research, advocacy, and policy. despite this wide acceptance, there is little conceptual theorisation of wellbeing and abortion. 2/
