“Lubatöw”, “Lubaczow”, “Lubaton”, “Lubatow”… or Lubartów? In our survey, we found no less than 200 spelling variations of “Lubartów”! It's hard to say for certain, as administrative procedures have such a strong influence on how place names are recorded.
