The cheers that come into the Gym song in Sword/Shield when you dynamax are still one of the most hype pokemon moments to me lol

Yeah its rough because its hard to do in a way that isn't like inherently sort of risky security wise. Thats why so many people point towards VPNs like tailscale or w/e because then it eliminates the risk but is annoying as a user experience.

It's not a real thing, though its also not just an anime trope even though its most common there. From what I remember reading, it became such a prolific part of anime because it gets around some various censorship laws in japan (instead of just saying a character got a boner or w/e)

Saw a dude cheering on the use of ML citing "the woke female VAs" as being responsible for whatever localization choices they didn't like, and its like. How do you convince someone who clearly has less than no knowledge on how something works like that.

Unfortunately, I think the number of people who actually care about the technical quality of writing in things like games or manga and such are fewer and far between these days.

On top of there being an increasingly loud group of people who cheer on these changes out of just pure resentment.

That's not good because this is a rescue mission, and we need to find a rescue the hostage before any harm comes to them.
