Playing to his base. Pensioners who went somewhere to work and people who do manual work (not many bricklayers work from home) and making out anyone who works from home does nothing.

Wonder how many of their donors have office property portfolios?

AI is training itself on it right now...

Also the Liverpool player needed to be sent off. You can't have players committing professional fouls and getting away with it of it didn't succeed in stopping a goal.

Right call for me. Your advantage doesn't allow you to commit a foul for free.

If so do we see it more often in games? If you get kicked in the middle of the park and advantage is played can you kick a defender on the way to score?

They going to call it Dullest airport?

How did he think "why not?" And fail to come up with a reason?

While I agree on regulation, why do some people think that if nobody stops them doing something it's not wrong?

So they want to reintroduce the 2 child cap on benefits to make beer cheaper in pubs but then get rid of income tax for women with more than 2 kids?

Miss it? Barely remember it.

Add GCP to the list and you've got the vast majority of cloud computing. We're handing our data and our entire computing capacity to three companies who will, when pushed, do exactly what the US government instructs them to.

Why do i get the image of Gollum falling backwards into the fires of mount doom? Smiling and happy that he's finally got his precious?

Before it devours his entire existence.

My local high street is a nice place but sells almost nothing I want to buy, and weekend aside has shops that are only ever open when I'm st work. Making my online purchases more expensive to subsidise the high street helps the average purchaser how?
January 29, 2026 at 9:25 AM
Yeah... you'll not run out of work for the foreseeable!

If you said the government detonated a vaccine with 5g... despite everything you've done some people would believe it.

Glad you're mending. You do good work.

Its pretty hard to go to uni in Salford and deliver fast food in Denton and Gorton. They're on opposite sides of Manchester. Not even easily commutable in those days. Makes no sense.
January 27, 2026 at 11:15 PM
sounds about right. From here across the pond, knowing what comes out of the US that you can't believe is quite easy at the moment. Knowing what you should is a bit harder.

As a Brit I don't know... but I heard that about Biden and Obama deporting more people than Trump. Also heard that was because they deported people who'd just crossed the border rather than uprooting families from cities who'd been here years. Is that accurate?
January 22, 2026 at 3:47 PM
To be fair - the chances of Trump saying "big hand" are pretty slim too... Given the rest of his speech I'm surprised he didn't say Marco was pretty smart - for a Cuban
January 21, 2026 at 3:13 PM
I dunno... That speech made me embarrassed to have ears, never mind bringing anything else into it.

And on drums... give a big hand for Susie Wiles... On Bass we've got little Marco - stand up Little Marco...

Stunning admission of US Intelligence failures that they can't even find a wind farm in China.
