I'm at FARO 2025 in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Dr. Vedang Murthy gave a great lecture on RT for bladder cancer, emphasizing the effectiveness of RT. Indeed, he has made great accomplishments. I consider him one of the greatest Asian GU RadOnc of our time. #FARO2025

This year's KOSRO Conference featured a seminar on ultra-hypofractionated RT, with JS Chang discussing breast cancer, H Nagar presenting on prostate cancer, and R Timmerman speaking about PULSAR.

Twoarc trial compared 50.4 Gy in 28 fxs vs. 33 Gy in 10 fxs in neoadjuvant CCRT for rectal cancer. This trial is recently published in Annals of Surgery #RectalCancer

SHARE trial compared 66 Gy in 33 fxs vs. 65 Gy in 26 fxs for salvage RT for biochemical recurrence after prostatectomy. The cohort has not yet matured for the primary outcome. Moderate hypoRT with 65 Gy was associated with increased GI toxicity. #ProstateCaner

Dr. Sang Hoon Seo, a resident physician of Samsung Medical Center Department of Radiation Oncology, presented blood dosimetry models in craniospinal irradiation, suggesting that blood DVH D5% can be a predictor of worse survival. Great job! #ASTRO25

LoRD-KNeA trial observed efficacy of low-dose RT in knee arthritis. 4-month response rates were 58.3% (0.3 Gy) vs. 70.3 (3 Gy) vs. 41.7% (0 Gy, sham), provides objective evidence for the efficacy of low-dose RT. Really proud of prof. Byoung Hyuk Kim! #ASTRO25
